How do mineral cosmetics differ from other types of makeup?
Most all makeup companies use a small amount of minerals for product pigment. However, instead of using 100% of
these natural ingredients for products, they use filler ingredients such as fragrance, dyes, talc, parabens, bismuth
oxychloride, etc. Filler ingredients are often irritants to our skin and hazardous to our health. Mineral cosmetics are a
beautiful and safer solution to our makeup needs.
Zinc oxide provides water resistant properties that makes mineral makeup excellent for woman with active lifestyles and
those living in areas with extreme weather conditions such as heat or rain that often cause liquid makeup “melt” or “run” off
the face (especially women with oily skin). Despite this quality, mineral makeup is easily removed with a gentle cleanser
and water.

- Mica: a natural mineral that reflects light from the face making skin appear smoother. It softens fine lines and
makes skin texture appear more even and lucid. - Titanium Dioxide: A natural mineral with ant-inflammatory properties, helping reduce skin irritations and redness.
Also minimizes the appearance of fine lines and skin discolorations. Provides natural protection (SPF 15) against
UVA and UVB rays. - Zinc Oxide: A natural mineral that calms irritated skin and helps with certain skin conditions such as rosacea.
